Dr Aidrian Camden
Consulting Psychologist
Adrian’s interests in neurodiversity are both personal and professional. He says: “on the personal side, as a child I had specific learning disabilities in reading, math, and language. The school and my therapist had differing views on what was the root of the problem. With time, I was able to find a way to work with the system. It was a long and hard process and I knew there must be an easier way. Trying to find that easier way is what has drawn me to neurodiversity.”Dr Camden has an M.S. and PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and is a Special Lecturer at Oakland University as well as Adjunct Professor at Oakland Community College in the USA. He is certified in personality psychometric assessments and also works as a professional coach for neurodivergent adults in the USA and the Europe."

Through my work, I want to support and champion voices that have been ignored or underrepresented in mainstream narratives. Being an ADHDer also helped cement this route as a way of advocating for myself and those like me better 🙂”We strongly believe that the expertise we have learned by navigating the neurotypical world as neuroatypical thinkers, and supporting our community to do the same, has given us insight into workplace performance from which everyone can benefit. Sometimes those on the outside looking in have the ability to see the patterns that those inside cannot divine.
